Cool Bookish Places: Storybook Forest

[via Book Riot]

Another cool literary destination this summer: Storybook Forest i at Idlewild Park near Ligonier, Pennsylvania.

It features thirty-three scenes and landmarks from an array of children’s fairytales and fables, including The Little Engine That Could, Jack and Jill, Humpty Dumpty, AladdinThe Three Little Pigs, and Alice in Wonderland. There are also six costumed actors in character as Mother Goose, Captain Candy, Goldilocks, The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe, Little Red Riding Hood, and Snow White.

LadyArwen: I. Must. Go. There. How did I live in the East all those years and never know about this place?

LadyArwen: This movie is so adorable in so many ways. And perfectly captures little children at play!

So true

LadyArwen: Oh my word—yes! I still have a few of these in my possession. AND I still know how to fold them!

Tiny birthday for a tiny hedgehog (x)

LadyArwen: Another hedgehog set! I think hedgehogs may need to become our unofficial Tumblr mascot.
